Some of Citygenius’s features depend on the idea that there are people in your life that you like to stay in touch, connect and share information with. Whether these people are best friends, family, coworkers, or acquaintances, once you connect to them, they are considered friends. In order for friends to stay in touch and reconnect, we use your real name on friend searches.
Email Address
Your email address is private and is only used for verification purposes. We respect your privacy concerns, your email and personal information will not be shared as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Username
Your username is a nickname that is used to identify you to other community members. To protect your privacy we urge you not use your real full name as the username. Do not choose usernames which may be offensive, misleading, disruptive, or promotional. If you choose such a username your account may be blocked. E-mail addresses and URLs are not valid usernames. Please read our Username Policy for more information.
Verification Code
This code is used to verify that you are a human submitting our signup form and not a robot or automated
script. While this is a little more work for you, it helps keep our community safe and secure.
